A highlight of a holiday in Austria in the Province of Salzburg

Glide through the winter wonderland. The horses snort, you can see their breath in the cold winter air. Huddled in a cosy, warm blanket enjoy the snowy scenery. It’s great fun, the driver makes jokes and passes round the schnapps. The horses pull the sleighs with all their might up to the Hofalm or the Gsengalm. They know the way by heart. You’d think they really enjoy it.
