BETTINA PICHLER

Portrait & Landscape Painting
My name is Dr Bettina Pichler. I was born in 1975 and live in Salzburg. I am a lawyer specialising in consumer protection, married, a mother of two daughters, a cat lover and a keen mountaineer.
My artistic training began at the Musisches Gymnasium, where I specialised in fine art, followed by numerous academy courses and further training. For many years, I was a member of Artforum Gneis and taught acrylic painting courses. I have held solo exhibitions at Café Shakespeare, the Rotunde Salzburg, the Josef-Brunauer-Zentrum and Uniqa Insurance, as well as taking part in many group exhibitions. I am also a member of the Salzburg Artists’ Collective.
I paint using various techniques, ranging from hyperrealistic to abstract; I particularly enjoy painting portraits of women in expressive colours to make the world a little more colourful.
