KARL WEBER

From the mid-1970s onwards, he increasingly turned his attention to free painting. As a keen hunter, his favourite subjects are primarily to be found in the animal kingdom. However, the rest of the spectrum, including academic nude painting, is also reflected in his repertoire. From drawing with charcoal, red chalk or pencil, through to oil paint applied with a brush or palette knife, he indulges in a wide variety of techniques.
