A retrospective in five phases of transformation
Over the course of five decades, I have created a body of work (currently comprising 68 paintings) that exemplifies the evolution from analogue craftsmanship to digital and algorithmic aesthetics. My work navigates the tension between technology and emotion, between real-world observation and the imagined world. Painting serves as my laboratory, in which questions of perception, freedom, sensuality and ethics unfold.
