MOUNTAIN-ART project – YOUNG ARTIST - CHEYENNE OBERREITER

My name is Cheyenne Oberreiter; I was born on 22 February 2011 in Dornbirn, Vorarlberg. I live with my parents and my two little sisters, Maya (aged 9) and Ayleen (aged 6), at Bairau 22, Hüttau.

I attended nursery school in Altenmarkt from 2014 to 2017 and then Altenmarkt Primary School from 2017 to 2021. From 2021 to 2025, I attended Altenmarkt Secondary School, which I completed with excellent results in the summer of 2025. I also obtained my ECDL certificate there. I am currently in Year 1 at the three-year LFS Winklhof.

My hobbies include reading, painting, spending time outdoors in nature, and skiing and snowboarding in winter.
I’ve been painting since I was little and I also use various drawing techniques. I prefer to draw landscapes or individual subjects. Painting takes my mind off things and I find it relaxing. Sometimes I just start with the first stroke and it turns into a whole picture. In 2025, my school at the time organised a painting competition on the theme of digitalisation. Back then, the third and fourth years were judged together, and I came first with my picture.
