Hiking with kids is great fun in Filzmoos
Hiking is not as boring as you think. Here in Filzmoos we've come up with some ideas to make walking in our beautiful mountain countryside fun for children. Time just flies by and strenuous uphill stretches are soon forgotten on the way up to the Moosalm with your stamp booklet or your puzzle pass to a variety of alpine huts. As a reward you can enjoy tasty doughnuts or "Kaiserschmarrn" (traditional Austrian chopped pancake dish) at one of the refreshment stops.
"Bärtl’s Family Trail” leads past thick forests, over lush meadows and you can romp around to your heart’s content at the play stations along the way. Great fun awaits our little adventurers.
All will be revealed in due course…
The stamp booklet is your most important companion on the exciting walk up to the Moosalm. Along the way you'll discover 15 little wooden houses with animal stamps inside. Stamp these in your booklet on the right page. When you have all 15 then you've reached the Moosalm hut. Proudly show your stamps to the owner of the Moosalm and you'll be rewarded with a "Moosalm bear" badge.
Pick up your "Puzzle Pass" and box from the Tourist Office.
Price: € 2,00 with the Salzburger Sportwelt Card (= guest card), € 4,00 without guest card.
Show your "Puzzle-Pass" at the participating huts and you receive a piece of puzzle. When you've walked to all 12 huts you can join the pieces together to make your finished jigsaw puzzle.
Have fun hiking and collecting puzzle pieces.
